The short version

The Hauscrate application processes your photographs entirely on your own Mac. It does not upload your images, it does not require an account, and it does not phone home. This policy covers the website only.

What this website collects

If you join the early-access list, we store: your email address, the date you signed up, the country your request came from, the page that referred you, any campaign parameters in the link you followed, and your answers to the three optional questions. We do not store your IP address.

We use double opt-in: your address is only added to the mailing list after you click the confirmation link. You can unsubscribe from any email in one click, and you can ask us to delete your record entirely at any time.

Why

To tell you once when the beta opens, and to understand who this product is for. That is all. We do not sell or share this data.

Processors we use

• Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting, and the database holding the early-access list. The database is created in Cloudflare’s EU jurisdiction, so the data is stored in the EU. Cloudflare is a US company and we rely on its Data Processing Addendum and EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
• Resend — sending the confirmation email and later announcements. Mail is dispatched from the EU region, but Resend stores account data, email metadata and logs in the United States, under Standard Contractual Clauses.
• Paddle.com Market Ltd — reseller and merchant of record for purchases, once the product is on sale. Paddle handles payment data; we never see your card details.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless, does not fingerprint visitors and does not track you across sites. There is no advertising tracking on this site and no cookie banner, because there are no tracking cookies to consent to.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Email hello@hauscrate.com and we will action it within 30 days.
